Pop Up Libraries
Our Pop-Up Library Service helps provide a wide range of library materials to residents of Lac La Biche County who are unable to visit one our branches. Current service points include: Buffalo Lake Métis Settlement, Heart Lake First Nation, Kikino Métis Settlement, Festival Centre in Plamondon, Heritage Centre, and Portage College.
* All locations may follow the school calendar, are closed on statutory holidays, and maybe cancelled due to inclement weather.
To qualify for this service, you must:
- Have a valid Lac La Biche County Libraries membership
- Have access to one of the services points
- Be a resident of Lac La Biche County or one of the four settlements or reserves in our area.
Our library staff will select the materials based on the expressed interests. These materials will be delivered to each location and loans/requests will be collected at this time.
You may borrow:
- Books & Magazines
- Books in Other Languages
- Board Games (upon request)
- Daisy Books and Daisy Readers
- DVDs
- Holds (upon request)
- Kits (upon request)
- Musical Instruments (upon request)
- Video games
