The Stuart MacPherson Branch will be closed from March 30th thru Monday April 2nd to celebrate the Easter weekend and the Plamondon Branch will be closed for Spring break.

Rhyme Time will be held in the Wild Rose Room on Thursdays starting at 10:30am. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries & Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5.

Paper Crafts & More runs on Fridays at the main branch from 11am-3:30pm. Tweens and up are invited to this free drop in program and staff assistance will be available as required.

Roaming Rhyme Time
will be at the Festival Centre on Tuesday, March 27th and April 10th & 24th starting at 10:30am. This free drop in program is designed for 0-5 years old with Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link as the hosts. Remote Circulation will be available during this time.

Maker Wednesdays is held at the main branch from 6:30-7:30pm during the school year (September - June). All ages are welcome to attend this free program. The weeks alternate between LEGO, Coding, 3D printing and Snap Circuits.

RISE – April Showers Bring May Flowers on Wednesday, April 11th at 11:15am at the main branch. Join Storyteller Mary Hays for stories and rhymes to welcome Spring.

Join us on Wednesday, April 11th for an author talk featuring Albertian author, Don Levers. He will talk about his novel “Loot for the Taking” which is inspired by real events and will be of interest to history and crime buffs alike. Two sessions: 10am (Plamondon) and at 2pm (Lac La Biche).

The Lac La Biche County Libraries will be showing the award-winning PG film Maudie on National Canadian Film Day (Wednesday, April 18th) at 1pm in the Wild Rose Room. Maudie is based on the true story of Nova Scotia painter Maud Lewis, who overcame the physical challenge of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis to become one of Canada's best known and most loved folk artists.

The next Happening Homeschoolers will be held on Friday, April 27th starting at 1:30pm. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend.
