Rhyme Time runs on Thursdays starting at 10:30am at the main branch. This free drop in program is designed for ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers.

RISE Event on Thursday, May 19th entitled Introduction to Yoga- Key Poses from 7:00-8:00pm. Join Bonnie Harvey of Inner Focus Yoga as she breaks down the 5 most common poses you will see in a yoga class, variations you can take, and some common habits to avoid.

Papercrafts and More will be held in the study rooms at the main branch from 10:00-4:30pm on Fridays. This program is for tweens and up and all materials will be provided.

Happening Homeschoolers will be held on Friday, May 27th & June 10th from 1:30-2:30pm right in the ATB Room. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend this free event.

TD Summer Reading Club 2016 "Let's Get Wild" with the Lac La Biche County Libraries. Registrations start on Monday, May 30th and this must be done in person so you can receive your reading club package. Whoever reads the most titles from July 1st to August 31st will win amazing prizes. Call 780-623-7467 for more information.

Maker Mondays - Creativity Zone will be held on Monday, June 6th & June 20th from 5:00-7:00pm right in the ATB Room. Come play with our Snap Circuits and plan 3D Printer projects. All ages including adults are welcome to join us.

RISE Event on Tuesday, June 7th Digestive Health from a Naturopathic Perspective from 10:00-11:00am right in the library. This session will discuss how problems with dietary intake of nutrients, as well as food sensitivities and intolerances, can contribute too many common health conditions.

In our fast-paced world, meditation is becoming more and more popular as people search for ways to relax. So join us for our RISE: Morning Guided Meditation session on Friday, June 10th from 10:30-11:00am.

Our Maker Mondays - Lego Club is for all ages (including adults) and it will be held on Monday, June 13th & June 27th from 5:00-7:00pm in the ATB Room.

Yoga is great for adults of all ages, especially seniors. Studies have shown that yoga can be extremely helpful when it comes to combating stress, fatigue, and pain. Some yoga poses increase core strength and balance, which reduces the risk of fall-related injuries. Other poses can alleviate senior-related health issues such as menopause. Join Bonnie from Inner Focus Yoga for a fun hour of Chair Yoga on Thursday, June 23rd from 11:00-12:00pm.
