Author Event on May 2nd at 6:00pm in the Wild Rose Room (at the main Branch) featuring:

Individual presentations to be followed by a joint Q&A. Thank you to the Wordpower Tour, Young Alberta Book Society and Cenovus Energy for selecting us as a host location.

Rhyme Time is held on Thursdays starting at 10:30am in the Wild Rose Room. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5.

Maker Wednesdays is held at the main branch from 6:30-7:30pm during the months of September - June. All ages are welcome to attend.

Roaming Rhyme Time will be held on Tuesday, March 26th & April 23rd from 10:30 -11:30am in Plamondon at the Festival Center. This is a free drop in partner program between the library and Parent Link designed for 0-5 years old and their caregivers with pop up libraries services available.

Paper Crafts & More runs in the library on Fridays from 11am-3:30pm.

Happening Homeschoolers will be held on Friday, March 29th from 1:30-2:30pm in Wild Rose Room. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend.

RISE: Raising Financially Fit Kids will be held on Wednesday, April 10th at 6:30pm at the main branch. We invite parents to join us for this informative presentation and learn some easy to implement techniques to teach their kids about savings, giving, and spending.

National Canadian Film Day
Screening of the documentary, “Birth of a Family” will be held at the main branch on Wednesday, April 17th at 6:30pm

RISE: Cautious Consumerism will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at 6:30pm at the main branch. Participants will learn ways to avoid the most common scams and fraud in Canada, and what to do if they become a victim of identity theft.

Coming soon! Our 3rd Escape Room at the Stuart MacPherson Public Library happens to land on a Family Friday – June 7th. We will have start times throughout the day, so teams should register in advance by calling 780-623-7467. While the theme is Harry Potter no witchcraft and wizardry knowledge will be required. This event is free and for ages 10 and up.
