Looking for a Youth Board Member and Youth Ambassadors to join our team. If you would like to gain experience as a Board Member with a dynamic, community focused organization – we want to hear from you! 2019 LEGO Competition will be held on Saturday, February 9th at the Stuart MacPherson Public Library. Bring in your creation using your own plastic LEGO® Bricks and completed entry form between 10:00-3:00pm or drop by the library to create your entry that day using our Lego. Prizes and certificates will be awarded. There will be free LEGO workshops by AIMBOT throughout the day and the registration form is on our website under the quick links. Rattle and Chat (0-17months) is free drop in partner program between Lac La Biche County Libraries, Alberta Health, and Parent Link held on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am and will be running until February 20th.

Maker Wednesdays is held at the main branch from 6:30-7:30pm during the months of September - June. All ages are welcome to attend.

Rhyme Time is held on Thursdays starting at 10:30am in the Wild Rose Room. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5.

Paper Crafts & More runs in the library on Fridays from 11am-3:30pm.

2019 Winter Reading Club. All ages are welcome to track every minute spent reading for the months of January and February for a chance to amazing prizes! To ensure your chance to win, please fill in our online form available on our home page under the quick links.

Roaming Rhyme Time will be held on Tuesday, February 12th & 26th from 10:30 -11:30am in Plamondon at the Festival Center. This is a fee drop in partner program between the library and Parent Link designed for 0-5 years old and their caregivers with pop up libraries services available.

RISE: Planning Financially for Post Secondary School on Wednesday, February 13th a 6:30pm This session is for parents of high school students who intend to go to post-secondary school. Parents will learn how to talk to their teens about money and how to plan financially for school.

Happening Homeschoolers
will be held on Friday, February 22nd from 1:30-2:30pm in the Wild Rose Room. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend this free event.
