Thank you to everyone who made our 2019 Library Con such a success. We had 158 attendees, vendors, volunteers, staff and presenters visit our main branch on Saturday. Thank you to Boston Pizza for their generous donation which will be used for our teen and youth programming including the next Harry Potter themed Escape Room on Friday, June 7th.

Rattle and Chat (0-17months) is free drop in partner program between Lac La Biche County Libraries, Alberta Health, and Parent Link held on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am starting on January 16th running until February 20th.

Maker Wednesdays is held at the main branch from 6:30-7:30pm during the months of September - June. All ages are welcome to attend this free program.

Rhyme Time
resumes on Thursday, January 17th starting at 10:30am in the Wild Rose Room. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5.

Paper Crafts & More
runs in the library on Fridays from 11am-3:30pm.

2019 Winter Reading Club
. All ages are welcome to participate in the Winter Reading Club. Track every minute spent reading for the months of January and February for a chance to amazing prizes! To ensure your chance to win, please fill in our online form available on our home page under the quick links.

RISE Events

  • Beekeeping 101 on Saturday, January 19th 2-4pm
  • Homeschooling 101 on Tuesday, January 22nd 6:30-8pm
Roaming Rhyme Time will resume on Tuesday, January 22nd from 10:30 -11:30am in Plamondon at the Festival Center. This is a fee drop in partner program between the library and Parent Link designed for 0-5 years old and their caregivers. Remote Circulation will also be available.

Science in Motion Presents: Bite-Size Science
on Wednesday, January 30th from 6:30-7:30pm at the Stuart MacPherson Public Library. Come join us as we explore the various fields of science with a variety of demonstrations sure to spark the interests of everyone and satisfy their craving of science.
