Mark the date!!! Our annual Melting Moments: Chocolate Making Class will be held on Tuesday, December 11th from 6-7:30pm. Come join us at the main branch to learn the basic skills of chocolate making.
Paper Crafts & More runs in the library on Fridays from 11am-3:30pm.
Rhyme Time runs on Thursdays starting at 10:30am in the Wild Rose Room. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5.
Maker Wednesdays is held at the main branch from 6:30-7:30pm during the months of September - June. All ages are welcome to attend this free program.
Roaming Rhyme Time will be held on Tuesday, November 27th and December 11th from 10:30 -11:30am in Plamondon at the Festival Center. This is a fee drop in partner program between the library and Parent Link designed for 0-5 years old and their caregivers. Remote Circulation will also be available.
Happening Homeschoolers will be held on Nov 30th at the main branch. starting at 1:30pm and all homeschooling families are welcome to attend.
Do you like science fiction, fantasy, steampunk, comics, gaming, or anime? Then come join us at our Annual Library Con! This is a pop culture convention is taking place during our Winter Reading Club 2019 on Saturday, January 12th. So don your cape, grab your mask, jump in your TARDIS and join us at the Stuart MacPherson Public Library where we will have activities for all ages from 11-3:30pm including a costume contest.
RISE: Retiring without Debt will be at the main branch on November 21st from 6:30-8pm. Participants will learn about debt elimination options so that they can enter their golden years without the shackles of debt.
RISE: Homeschooling 101 will be at the main branch on November 28th from 6:30-8pm. Considering homeschooling? Join us for this informative presentation to learn the important points, beginning steps, and rights and responsibilities of providing home education in Alberta. Presented by Alberta Homeschooling Association.
Exams are stressful...study help and exam prep that follows the Alberta curriculum for grades 3-12 are available through Solaro. All you need is your FREE library card from Lac La Biche County Libraries and follow the instructions to sign up. If you need assistance, call the main branch at 780-623-7467.
