Join us on Tuesday, April 24th from 6:30-7:30pm for an Author Visit from Hazel Hutchins. Hazel was born and raised in southern Alberta, is the author of over fifty titles from picture books for the youngest set to novels for older grades. A popular presenter at schools and libraries across Canada, Hazel's books have won many awards and are found in translation in many corners of the world. This free family presentation is part of the Cenovus Word Power Tour so you won't want to miss it.

RISE: 75 Ways to Save on Household Expenses will be held on Tuesday, April 24th from 6:30-8pm. Participants will gather tips on how to save on various household expenses including utilities, transportation, groceries and personal items. Participants will also be encouraged to share their best practices with each other.

Rhyme Time will be held in the Wildrose Room on Thursdays starting at 10:30am. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries & Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5.

Paper Crafts & More
runs on Fridays at the main branch from 11am-3:30pm. Tweens and up are invited to this free drop in program and staff assistance will be available as required.

Roaming Rhyme Time will be at the Festival Centre on Tuesday, April 24th and May 8th & 22nd starting at 10:30am. This free drop in program is designed for 0-5 years old with Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link as the hosts. Remote Circulation will be available during this time.

Maker Wednesdays is held at the main branch from 6:30-7:30pm during the school year (September - June). All ages are welcome to attend this free program. The weeks alternate between LEGO, Coding, 3D printing and Snap Circuits.

The next Happening Homeschoolers will be held on Friday, April 27thstarting at 1:30pm. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend.

RISE: Irregular Income will be held at the main branch on Tuesday, May 1st from 6:30-8pm. Participants will learn how to manage irregular income. This session is intended for hourly, seasonal, commission, contract, or self-employed individuals.
