The next Happening Homeschoolers will be held on Friday, February 23rd starting at 1:30pm. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend. Guest: Beaver River Watershed Alliance.

All ages are welcome to participate in our 2018 Winter Reading Club by filling out the online reading log for their chance to win prizes.

Rhyme Time will be held in the Wild Rose Room on Thursdays starting at 10:30am. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers.

Paper Crafts & More runs on Fridays at the main branch from 11am-3:30pm. Tweens and up are invited to this free drop in program and staff assistance will be available as required.

Roaming Rhyme Time will be at the Festival Centre on Tuesday, February 27th starting at 10:30am. This free drop in program is designed for 0-5 years old and the hosts are the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link. Remote Circulation will resume in March.

Rattle and Chat (0-17months) is free drop in partner program between Lac La Biche County Libraries, Alberta Health, and Parent Link held on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am until March 28th.

Maker Wednesdays is held at the main branch from 4-6pm from September - June. All ages are welcome to attend this free program. The weeks alternate between LEGO, Coding, 3D printing and Snap Circuits

RISE: Leisure in Dementia Care for Family and Caregivers will be held on Thursday, March 8th from 2:30-4:30pm. Do you have a loved one with dementia? In this session you will learn what dementia is, how to communicate effectively, the psychological needs of people with dementia, learn about resources and support services, plus learn ways to cope with the stress and grief.

The Stuart MacPherson Branch will be closed at 5pm on Thursday, March 8th due to a Library Board and Staff Training Session. Thank you for your understanding and will reopen Friday morning at 9am.
