Don’t forget! - Family Literacy Day’s Read for 15 Community Challenge. Lac La Biche County Libraries is encouraging our community members to read for 15 minutes on Friday, January 26th – Saturday 27th. Participants will have a chance to win prizes by calling 780-623-7467 or by filling out the online form which is on the Lac La Biche County Libraries homepage.

Maker Wednesdays is held at the main branch from 4-6pm from September - June. All ages are welcome to attend this free program. The weeks alternate between LEGO, Coding, 3D printing and Snap Circuits.

Rhyme Time will resume this Thursday, January 18th at 10:30am in the ATB Room. This free drop in partner program between the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link is designed for ages 0 to 5 and their caregivers.

Paper Crafts & More runs on Fridays at the main branch from 11am-3:30pm. This free program is for tweens and up. All materials will be provided, and staff assistance is available as required for this drop-in program.

Roaming Rhyme Time will be at the Festival Centre on Tuesday, January 23rd & February 13 & 27th starting at 10:30am. This free program is designed for 0-5 years old and must be accompanied by a caregiver. The hosts are the Lac La Biche County Libraries and Parent Link and no registration is required. Remote Circulation will also be available during this time.

The next Happening Homeschoolers will be held on Friday, January 26th starting at 1:30pm. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend this free event.

2018 Winter Reading Club. All ages are welcome to participate in the Winter Reading Club. To ensure your chance to win a prize, please hand in your Reading Logs to either Stuart MacPherson Public Library by February 28, 2018 or fill in our online form available on our home page.
Rattle and Chat will run from January 17th – March 28th and is especially designed for ages 0-17 months and their caregivers. This free partner program between Lac La Biche County Libraries, Alberta Health, and Parent Link is held on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am and no registration is required.

• Telus World of Science – “Use the Force” on Wednesday, January 31st staring at 6:30pm.
LEGO Competition on Saturday, February 10th from 10-3pm with A.I.M.B.O.T leading fun activities and OXbuger Studios presenting a session on Stop Animation.
• Make your own Pokémon Bath Bombs on Tuesday, February 20th starting at 6:30pm.
