Digital Storytelling
What is Digital Storytelling?

Digital storytelling is a short (2-5 mins) personal story created by combining a recorded narrative with images, music, or other sounds. One popular example of these are oral histories but any form of media can be utilized to tell a story.

Digital storytelling enables people to:
  1. Share what is important or meaningful to them,
  2. Share a perspective or a personal experience of a historical event which might differ from the traditional narrative, and
  3. Provides us with a chance to learn about each other resulting in stronger relationships and understanding within our communities.
